Apex Dental Finder (“we”) is a free directory of low-cost dental clinics. You can use it without an account. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, and your choices.
Information you give us
- Reports and messages. If you use the “Report a problem” or contact form, we keep what you write and, if you choose to give it, your email address, so we can follow up. Please don't send health information about yourself.
Your location
If you choose “Use my location,” your browser shares your approximate position so we can sort clinics by distance. We round it to about a kilometer before searching and do not store it. You can say no and search by city or ZIP code instead.
Information collected automatically
- Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, and may use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
Advertising
The site is supported by ads served by third-party ad partners, including Mediavine and its partners. These companies may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites (such as IP address, browser and device information, and pages viewed) in order to show ads, measure them, and personalize them to your interests where the law allows. We do not share the content of your reports or messages with advertisers.
Your choices
- Use the Your Privacy Choices button at the bottom of every page to review or change consent for advertising cookies. Where available, this includes opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising.
- You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you. To make a request, contact us.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Links to other sites
Listings link to clinic websites and to the sources of our information. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
